TASTING NOTES
APPEARANCE
A wine of intense red with garnet hues. High intensity. Dense, slow-falling legs.
NOSE
On the nose, aromas of ripe fruit such as plums and raspberries; vegetative notes of eucalyptus that add freshness; and notes of toast, coffee and vanilla from the oak ageing.
PALATE
A welcoming entry; in the mid-palate medium acidity and round tannins. A meaty profile, balanced with the alcohol. Long, smooth finish.
Full-bodied red wines with ripe fruit flavours and good acidity pair wonderfully with main courses such as lean meats and stews; served slightly cooler than recommended they also complement chocolate and red-fruit desserts.
