TASTING NOTES
APPEARANCE
A red wine of deep dark red with garnet hues. Pronounced legs with a slow fall.
NOSE
On the nose, high-intensity aromas recalling ripe plums, morello cherries, sun-dried tomato, black pepper, coffee and chocolate.
PALATE
A welcoming entry; in the mid-palate low acidity with balanced alcohol. Firm tannins with flavours of spice and ripe fruit. A full-bodied, persistent wine with a medium finish.
Full-bodied red wines with ripe fruit flavours and good acidity pair wonderfully with main courses such as lean meats and stews; served slightly cooler than recommended they also complement chocolate and red-fruit desserts.
