GRAPE VARIETY
90% Malbec (45% from Agrelo and 45% from Los Arboles), 10% Merlot.

VINEYARD LOCATION
Agrelo, Lujan de Cuyo and Los Arboles, Valle de Uco. Mendoza, Argentina.

HARVEST
Mid April.

PRODUCTION
8.000 bottles.

VINIFICACIÓN
Due to harvest date, the grapes achieve a very good phenolic ripeness and sugar concentration.
A cold pre-fermentation maceration, at 8°C temperature, takes place during 72 hours.
Alcoholic fermentation with cultured yeasts, at 25° - 28°C temperature, follows with respective pumping over.
After fermentation, the selected wine is put into American and French new oak barrels during 14 months.
Once oak ageing is finished, a further selection of barrels is made to decide in the final blending.
After bottling, the bottles remain 15 months for further ageing.

ANALYTICAL DATA
Alcohol 14,30% vol.

STORAGE & SERVING CONDITIONS
Store up to 3 years in dark and humid place, at 14ºC to 18ºC. Serve at 16ºC to 18ºC.

TASTING NOTES

SIGHT
A bright ruby red wine, deep in colour and intensity with well-defined tears.

NOSE
Both aromatic and complex on the nose, with dried fruity aromas of raisins and prunes with a hint of tree fruit notes like cherries. Further woody aromas of vanilla and coffee.

PALATE
Full-flavoured and full-bodied with soft tannins and a pleasant mouth-feel. A complex and long lasting wine, well-balanced both in alcohol and acidity.
