TASTING NOTES
APPEARANCE
A red wine of deep ruby red with violet hues. High intensity and defined, slow-falling legs.
NOSE
Expressive and complex, with spice notes of pepper and clove intertwining with fruity aromas of sun-dried tomato, figs, plums and morello cherries. Towards the finish, delicate notes of chocolate and coffee anticipate the time in barrel.
PALATE
A welcoming, silky entry. In the mid-palate, very good acidity with sweet, generous and velvety tannins that coat the palate with elegance. The alcohol is perfectly balanced. A long and notably persistent finish, with a lingering aftertaste of fruit and chocolate.
Full-bodied red wines with ripe fruit flavours and good acidity pair wonderfully with main courses such as lean meats and stews. At a slightly cooler temperature they also complement chocolate and red-fruit desserts.
