ORIGIN & WINEMAKING
100% Malbec from the IG San Pablo. Los Árboles, Tunuyán, Mendoza, Argentina, at 1,250 m a.s.l.

SOIL & IRRIGATION
In Valle de Uco, we find soils of alluvial origin with a sandy-loam texture and rolled pebbles; heterogeneous and shallow. The climatic characteristics — owing to the altitude and proximity to the mountain range — allow daily temperatures during the vine's vegetative cycle to be cooler than in lower-elevation zones, with a marked diurnal temperature range further enhanced by the mountain breeze descending during afternoons and nights.

Rainfall is slightly greater than in other zones. This results in slower grape maturity, greater tannin and polyphenol concentration, and higher natural acidity.

Drip irrigation is superficial, with snowmelt water from the Las Tunas and Villegas rivers.

STORAGE & SERVING
Keep away from light and store at temperatures between 12°C and 14°C. Serve between 16°C and 18°C.

TASTING NOTES

APPEARANCE
A wine of deep ruby red with plum hues. High intensity, with marked, slow-falling legs.

NOSE
On the nose it expresses itself with spiced and fresh notes, giving way to aromas of dark fruits such as mulberries, currants and strawberries, accompanied by delicate violets. With oxygenation, subtle notes of leather emerge alongside an earthy character fused with menthol nuances — attributes that faithfully reflect the identity of its terroir.

PALATE
On the palate the entry is generous; in the mid-palate a marked acidity is perceived in balance with the alcohol and round, sweet tannins. The flavour is persistent and retakes the fruity and menthol notes present on the nose. A long, pleasant finish of great elegance.

Full-bodied red wines with a fruity flavour and good acidity pair wonderfully with red meat and pasta dishes; or, served slightly cooler than recommended, can be enjoyed on their own.
