Alejandro Martínez Rosell, our head winemaker, took his first job in the mineral-water business after graduating as an Agricultural Engineer in his native Mendoza. Time, his family roots and 40 vintages on his shoulders would, however, turn him into one of Argentina's most experienced sparkling-wine makers.

He grew up under the eaves of the winery his grandfather Bernardo built 120 years ago, which today houses Rosell Boher. And it is in those century-old cellars that “Pepe” finds his greatest inspiration when bringing to life the works that fill us with pride and pleasure.

Those who know them both say that Nicolás Calderón is the ideal complement to our head winemaker. Since joining the winery in 2015, he has brought to bear the knowledge gained through his Oenology degree and the experience built in Napa Valley and at several Argentine wineries. Together, the two of them give life to the true masterpieces of Cavas Rosell Boher.

Federico Martínez Biaiñ is a Mendoza native, 40 years old, and has been in charge of the Rosell Boher vineyards since 2004, when he graduated as an Agricultural Engineer. Alongside this, he has gained work experience in Italy, France and Spain. He is married to Cecilia and they have two children, who are not yet part of the wine industry — though, according to the family, only for now.

Together they form a singular team, committed to crafting only wines of the highest quality — with a touch of the magic only they know how to apply in just the right measure.
